Hello, Does anyone know any tweaks or anything so that I can get Yamaha SoftSynthesizer S-YXG70 to install on Windows 2000 Professional? I have attempted to install it however It just comes up and says we need Windows 95/98 to run the installer. Is there anything I can attempt to do to get this working? It's for a local school that requires that sound synthesizer.
Thanks!

Copy the installer to the hard drive. Right-click the staller program and select Properties and then click the Compatibility tab. Check the box 'Run this program in compatibility mode for' and select the appropriate OS from the drop-down list.
No it is available for Windows 2000. You just have to register a DLL file to do it (regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll) to enable it although it still didn't fix the issue. Still asks for Windows 95/98
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
