i am running windows 7 with a ASUS A8V-VM motherboard, my device manager tells me the VIA VT8237A/8251/8261 – High Definition Audio Controller is working properly but i have no sound from my speakers. I thought this would be due to the driver not being compatible with windows 7.
Can anyone suggest a way in which i can get the driver which will run the audio.
I also have a seperate soundcard in the computer, this is a Hercules soundcard with a chip on it which reads
CM8738/PCI-6ch-LX, but this device is unknown and when i try to install a driver for it, the card isnt found.
