Ok i just got an soyo m/b and got everthing to work install window xp pro sp2. but my ram was showning 256mb when install a 1gb PC3200 ddr.
I return the ram and got what soyo said will work a KINGSTON KVR400X64C25 512M. i turn off, clear CMOS install ram and now i get a Repeating (Endless loop) Memory error Bad memory or bad connection. check it still the same. and i bought 2 stick same problem with both.
So here my Q i have only a 300watt Power supply
would this cause this problem with the beep and also the problem of showning 256m when a 1g was in it?
