I’ve been getting these emails with .doc and .xls attachments with extensions on end of extensions (like .pif or .com or .ink)…i know not to open because of virus threat, but i am running antivirus and I don’t know any other reason but a virus that i would be gettign emails with same body text and different attachments in 15 minutes intervals all day. I checked out email header and found the mail server it was coming from and IP address. I looked up website and it was a company that does oil drilling…so I don’t know what is going on, it seems to me that someone has hacked their server and is sending me files from their server…but then the 15 minutes intervals??? If anyone has a clue, please help.. i am the only one in the organization that this is happening to and i have done a complete update of antivirus and full system scan. Thanks.
