Spam over Internet Telephony (SPIT) is going to be huge security concern in the near future of VoIP. More and More people are switching from PSTN to VoIP networks, since VoIP has seduced millons of people and companies.
I just wonder how the people are going to handle SPIT in VoIP networks? SPIT will not be like Email Spam,it is Voice Spam.Since it is Real – time it would be a huge headache for the users.
Recently i heard NEC is developing a system called VoIP SEAL to prevent SPIT in VoIP.
If anybody having any ideas to prevent SPIT please share with us. It would be a great pleasure for us.
