Besides bouncing the spam, I have started to report it using the Spam Inspector feature. Spam Inspector sends the report to abusereport@spamabuse.org and to the spammer?s ISP. Some ISP?s started to reply, suggesting to use the http://spamcop.net service.
I have tested and compared the reports sent by Spam Inspector and by http://spamcop.net and I have concluded that they identify different spammer?s ISP. Why? This is normal? Who is more effective?
