Three times a week, I receive the following error. This error kills all printing on our file and print server, as well as locking up terminal services.
Application popup: Spoolsv.exe – Application Error: The instruction at “0x77fcc2c0” reverenced memory at “0x00000000”. The memory could not be written.
Click OK to terminate the program.
Clicking OK and reinitializing the spool service restores everything to normal. I need to know what this is so that I can fix it. I checked with HP (our hardware provider). They say that it is software related, specifically OS related. I have also checked various knowledge bases, including Microsoft to no avail.
