Spoolsv.exe error

On a Win2000 SP3 server 1.gb memory, 1.13 ghz which is running my DHCP and file server. This server also used for one network printer. I have a user that when he trys to print to this printer his computer Win2000 prof. hang. The printer shows on hiscomputer as opening. On the server I lose the printer from printers along with all the printers that the server has installed. When I look in services I see that the print spool is not started. I also get an error on the server screen “Spoolsv.exe application Error”
“The instruction at 0x77801ad4 ref. memory at 0x000000000. The memory could not be read, click ok to terminate the program”

Any suggestions where to start ?
