I have a Windows 2000 Professional PC with Service Pack 2 installed. The problem that I am having is that the Print Spooler service is using up about half the CPU time when there are no applications running. I have just setup this PC so there are not even any printer drivers installed yet. Any ideas on what would make this happen. Also, I have to stop the service to get into the printers folder on the system. If I don’t, then it just hangs.
