Spreadsheet Different on another puter

By riply ·
Hi All!

I was wondering how to fix this. I made several spreadsheets on my computer and the columns and rows are fine, all numbers show clearly and these files are saved to our server. When my boss goes to the server to see these spreadsheets, the columns now show ######'s for numbers indicating that the columns need to be enlarged to show the numbers correctly. Why does it show fine on my end but end up different when he opens it?? I have checked the width of these columns and they are the same as they appear on my puter. The columns don't seem to be a specific format ie. currency just seems to be an issue with the column width. I have checked to make sure his display is set to 800X600 which mine is and also have checked that his zoom is the same as mine (100%)I printed the spreadsheet on his puter and it showed all of the #####'s...but when I pull up the spreadsheet and print it, it is perfectly fine. The fonts are the same also...any ideas????? My boss is not saavy to be able to format the spreadsheets and also he will not want to have to deal with changing it just so he can read them.
Any help will be appreciated!
Thank You!!! (bothputers are win2000 and we are both using Excel 2000.
