I have a big problem, I keep getting “Spyblast”,”People On Page” and some memory tester and can’t get rid of them no matter what I do. Every time I start IE 6.02 w/xpsp2,which is what I run, these keep coming up.You can uninstall spyblast but not POP or the memory counter and I can’t find them anywhere on my PC or don’t know where to look, can someone help me? This is driving me nuts!
    Thanks,
    Dave

Try downloading SpyBot’s Search and Destroy and running it. Sounds like you have spyware running from your reg. You can download it from http://www.downloads.com. Make sure to update it before you run it.

goto http://www.lavasoftusa.com, download adaware (free), update it, scan your pc, remove spyware.

Reboot, should be fine. If the other program you talk about still starts up and you can’t seem to find it, Click start, goto run, type regedit

In the registry do a search for RUN check keys and match whole string only… there you will find what programs automatically start up upon bootup. Delete the misc program you never want to see again. Reboot…\

This program found all the bad or invading sites but I can’t stop them unless I buy the upgraded program. I have no problem with that, but I thought this was all I needed? Please let me know if there is anything else available? I did not find any update for this product, only the program that said “new product”.
        Thanks,

      Spyblast Removal
Open the Downloaded Program Files folder in the Windows folder, right-click the entry ‘SBFullInst Control’ and choose ‘Remove’. Next, open the registry (click ‘Start’, choose ‘Run’ and enter ‘regedit’) and find the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. Delete the ‘SpyBlast’ entry.

Restart the computer and you should be able to delete the ‘SpyBlast’ folder inside Program Files.

As for POP You will need to go here two much stuf to type.
