<p>Use good utilities, and don't be dumb.  Depending on what sites you visit, you could be more prone to viruses, spyware, malware etc etc.</p>

The browser wars

Personally, I believe a bigger problem in the browser wars is not that Microsoft bundles IE with WIndows, it is web developers who write web pages using techniques that only supported IE.  I have run across numerous web sites (bank, game sites) that not only don't work with Mozilla or Opera, they push you to a web page that tells you your browser is not supported because it is not IE.
