I am trying to make a SQL 7 and SQL 2000 servers replicate over the Internet putting SQL 7 as the publisher and SQL 2000 as the subscriber. The problem is that SQL 7 Enterprise Manager can’t connect the SQL 2000, I get a “You must upgrade to SQL 2000” message.
I thought about replicating using scripts via Query Analizer, but I am not sure how much work is needed.
Is there anybody who had this problem and find a way out!? Please let me know..
