I have a win2000 os, and have loaded both 6.5 with a switch to 2000 to day I ‘switched’ back to 6.5 to load a new db and be able to upgrade it to 2000. The switch went throught the motions but when I went to load the enterprise manager I now get a message that the MMC can not read the file …. I have uninstalled both versions and reinstalled 2000 but still get the same message. I can open the mmc console look at security and everything else but it will not allow me to run enterprise manager. I have checked the services and they all run all answers greatfully received before the laptop goes into orbit!
