Looking for a Sr. DB Architect/SQL DBA
Database – Several terabytes of data – 90 days of activity – probably 150 to 200 million records. Insertion and extraction will be a challenge.
Need a database architect / DBA – for modeling this kind of a data base.
High Available – resilient
They will probably – use publisher / subscriber model.
SQL Server 2005 – most probably ??????? But not sure . Will be decided in meetings this week.
They would want to purge old data – while leaving the system online.
They will partition the system – such that each company will have its own solution.
Exporting of the data – for large customers – they have to give the data – hourly or daily for archiving purposes.
They will need to export data while the system is running.
