SQL Mail in SQL 2005 64bit server

i have job with the last step as “send email” but the job fails giving error message sql mail has not been enabled. when i was trying to enable through SQL Server surface area manager it gives message it does not support with SQL 64bit server. Someone please help me out with this issue.
