Locked

SQL Server 2000

By setivi ·
My MSSQL Server 2000 evaluation period has just expired. This has caused the SQL Server 2000 to shutdown locking away all my tables from me.
Is there a way to resuscitate the SQL Server 2000 in order to get to my tables?

depends on what you want to do. If you just want to save your data base for future use. Try this. 1. make your existing harddrive a slave and install a new master. Reinstall SQL server on the new master then move your data files to a seperate drive for future use. Uninstall SQL on your new drive and delete the old Sql server. Now just wait until you get SQL server permanately installed.
I always back up to a seperate drive just in case the program I am using goes south.
Good Luck
Mike
