I am receiving the following alerts:
‘Track: Sev. 24 Errors:’
18456 Login failed for user ‘Admin’.
I am trying to determine the origin of the login attempt above, but cannot find any details in the SQL logs nor in the NT 4 Event viewer logs.
My configuration is as follows:
Windows NT 4 Server SP 4
MS SQL Server 7
I’d appreciate any assistance in determining the source of the login attempt listed in the message above. We are using mixed-mode validation (NT & SQL).
