Let me set the scenario…I am dumbo trying to take on a jumbo job in my company…knowing squid is an excellent proxy server but nothing else…
The company say abc whose parent company is xyz wants a proxy where all will be required to go thru proxy to get internet access and will also have to authenticate themselves. Only top managers will have access to all web Rest will be allowed access websites based on demands from them. Also specific websites will be denied. MSN messenger and skype will be banned for some of them.
Periodically I will need to eavesdrop on who is doing what???
