srvany.exe service will not start

By Matt H ·
I have some robocopy batch files compiled into .exe's and installed on a W2003 Server as Windows Services using SrvAny.exe. I have 7 running happily, but the last 2 I've set up simply refuse to start, and I get a dialog box saying they started and stopped imediately. The existing services have been running fine for about 4 months. Is there a limit to the number of services you can run this way? I've checked all the setups repeatedly and can't see a problem - thay are all identical.

Just a truly stupid question, but you are using the verstion that came with the Windows 2003 resource kit correct?

Unless you are out of resources or don't hgave the correct secruity permissions (check if you installed SP2),I don't see why you would be limited on the number.
