How can I connect to solaris via ssh
on XP.

Have you tried putty?, it is a free ssh client. Also the people from SSH has a free non-commercial version, which works great :).

Your biggest problem is that Windows XP has no built-in support for SSH. PuTTY is a great tool for doing this, as the previous answer stated (
The other alternative is to use cygwin on Windows ( From that, use OpenSSH and you should be just as well off. Cygwin, however, does take more effort since, what it does is create a small linux distribution that you can use while XP is currently running. If you plan on using other things for geared for Linux or even Solaris itself, Cygwin could be a good solution.

well, I download the PuTTY already, but i met a problem.
my xp is connected to the solaris(proving by ping).And my ssh login name is root, and i type the password is the one in solaris for root, then the PuTTY said : Access denied!
why?what else should i config?Please help me.Thank you:)
