Currently, we are using SSRS 2008 and so IIS is not required. In any case, of course the URL http://servername/Reports works fine, but I would rather make it easier for users by making a DNS alias such as http://www.reporting.com. The problem is, in Active Directory, I cannot make an alias that points to a folder/virtual directory. That is, I CANNOT configure www.reporting.com = servername/reports (it doesn’t like the /reports).
I have looked all over Google and on here, but cannot solve it. Please, any advice would be appreciated.
