I have an external hard drive that serves as a backup drive. Currently it is connected to one machine.
Right now, there are several machines which are connected to share files via ethernet cables. The rest of the machines access the external hard drive through the machine that has the external hard drive.
Is it possible to have the external hard drive become standalone, unattached to a machine, and be accessible by all of the machines?
