Standby/Hibernate

By janezhang1 ·
No matter what i do, eg going to START ->TURN OFF COMPUTER -> either Standby or Hibernate, a box stating "Standby/Hibernate is prohibited now." would come up. So there's been no way I can put my computer in either of these 2 modes. Could someone help please? Thanks!

If you haven't got access to your User Manual, which may also be on your Motherboard CD, go to this site and download AIDA32 - Personal System Information 3.93: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download181.html
<br><br>
Run aida32.exe and left click on Motherboard in the right hand pane and then click Chipset and take note of Motherboard Chipset:

If you look down the bottom of that screen you will see Product Information http: Driver Download http:

Follow the Driver Download link to Update your Drivers.
