start run application

By ManISKid ·
I'm a big fan of launching programs using start-->run then typing a command in such as: msimn, iexplore techrepublic.com, iexplore hotmail.com, winword, excel, etc.

I want to be able to take control of this list so that I can do things like export it and rebuild it on command and so forth.

i bet it is in the registry someplace. just guessing. but have you searched there? you don't mention your os version...perhaps microsoft has documented this. maybe find by searching knowlegebase at support.microsoft.com

if it is in the registry, you can still do as you want. because you can save bit of registry and recombine them into main registry by 'executing' them. (double-clicking)

Open Regegit and go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU

Export the key, and there you go.
