Start Up in System Configuration Utility

By john.cb1 ·
When I uninstall programs it still leaves the software to run in the Start up of the System Configuration Utility.

I have unticked the Uninstalled programs but i would like to remove the programs that are left in Start up of the System Configuration Utility.

Does anyone know how i can get rid of them or if there is software that lets me remove them.

Could you please let me know

John

Start Up in System Configuration Utility

REGEDIT will do this. YOu can just manually cut out these entries.

Click Start -> Run
Type in REGEDIT and click OK.

Now, the usual place for startup entries is in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Go there,then in the right pane you will see several entries. Just delete any you don't want. There is no saving first or "are you sure" prompts in Regedit. Once you delete it, it is gone, so don't make a mistake. When done, close Regedit.

Be careful!
