I'm not sure if I'm in the right place but here goes...How do I edit my startup menu in windows xp...how do I get to it...

To open start menu

Right-click on the Start menu button,then click on Properties

On the Start Menu tab,under Start menu click Customize

On the Advanced tab under Start menu items,select items you want to edit

If you're looking to edit what starts when you boot, try running "MSCONFIG" using the run command in the Start Menu (windows key + R = run). From there you can edit just about anything having to do with the startup of your machine. This tool came with 98 but was left out in 2000, now it's back in XP.
