One of my office’s pc unable to boot up. I can hear the hard disk is running but after probably 1 minute it stop running. The monitor is showing “Check Signal” when booting up but turn black and the monitor indicator light turn yellow after the harddisk stop running. I’m not able to eject the cd-rom either and is like the whole thing is hanging. Unable to see the startup screen.
The pc is using Ami Bios. I can’t hear any beeps during startup. Have checked the beep codes and it refers to either power supply, motherboard or pc speaker problem.
But how do I confirm that this is a motherboard problem?
