Hello, A few weeks ago my computer started to slow after the desktop appeared.(It’s quick up to that point.) I have tried the usual fixes and I have tried stopping almost everything on Startup (Anti-Virus, Firewall,Anti-Spam software, etc.)but it doesn’t make any difference, which makes me think that I have an unusual problem. I have tried setting a boot defrag with Diskeeper but I get a message sayibg that the defrag couldn’t be performed because Diskeeper didn’t have sole command or words to that effect. As I had stopped almost everything else, I don’t know what it could be referring to. I was thinking that it might be a Disk problem but Chkdsk doesn’t find any problems. Any ideas, anyone.
