I am having some problems with outlook 2000 that I never had with outlook 97 when I send email to someone with a file attached they say they get the text message no problem but file is not there ,I even sent it to myself also but I get it no problem.

Also call the person that you sent it to and see if they are usning the same client. If they not they might be looking for the attachment in the wrong place, Example Outlook express puts the attachment in a seperate box un the Sent to/subject box instaed of in the body of the message.
I've had this problem before. It is more than likely cause by the use of Word as your editor [and I'm assuming you are still using Word 97 - Work 2000 doesn't cause this problem]. Change the default editor to Check the following: In Outlook, selectTOOLS\OPTIONS\MAIL FORMAT and unselect USE MICROSOFT WORD TO FORMAT...
Try a resend after this. It should resolve the problem [but you no longer get to use WORD as your editor].
