Yes. You need a copy of NETSVC.EXE, from the Resource Kit. This command-line app will let you stop/start/list services on remote computers.

You can set up a BAT file to stop the Indexing services for every system on your LAN.
You just need a copy of NETSVC.EXE
Looks like it is not a free download from Microsoft; you’ll just have to find it.
