Storing music

By robert_m_lowy ·
Listening to Pandora, wish I couldbring 2-3 hours of music to a 1950's dance party. Problem is the Music-Genome sometimes makes mismatches and my oldies could include a modern rendition of a classic.

My son has told me anything that can be received by the computer can be captured on removeable storage media.

Is this possible so I can make deletions?

Sound card software

by mjd420nova In reply to Storing music

I use a Creative sound card and it comes with recording software to save any audio track from any source to the hard drive and I can then rip it into any format of my choice and save to any media of choice. I prefer to use the .WAV format to get all the music and then burn to a CD/DVD to be played on any machine. MP3 take up less space but some of the music content gets lost in the compression/decompression routines.
