Strange e-mail subject line: [Filter Test: C11]

By mdphoenix ·
Anyone ever seen this? One of my attorneys is getting this in the title of her e-mails on occasion when e-mailing one of her former colleagues. From what I've found online, it looks as though something in the e-mail is triggering a filter, but I'm not sure.

Can someone say for certain (like from personal experience) what this is?

is she sending attachments?
is it the colleague who is getting the stripped subject line, or your attorney?

You said "..attorney is getting this...when e-mailing.."
How is she getting it, if she is e-mailing?

Give us the full headers and we could help

Clarification

Ok. My attorney is Ellen. She is e-mailing Kathy.

When Ellen receives a reply from Kathy, said subject line has replaced the "Re:" subject line that should be there.

No attachments are being exchanged. It's just a conversation.

Assuming that Kathy is seeing the same subject

I would have Kathy check to see if the company she works for has an Email filter.

It is likely that if you do not have an email filter that it is being applied by Kathy's server.
