Strange Explorer Fonts

I installed Norton Utilities a few days ago, since then, a few Web pages have become illegible. instead of letters, theres just little squares. bout every 7th letter is appearing but the rest are squares.
any ideas other than the obvious of gettin rid of Utilities. Does anyone know what could be causing this prob.
