Hi,
I have a multi-OS PC with W98 and W2K with 2 printers (Epson Color 600 and HP Laserjet 6L connectid via a AB switch) connected this Pc.
Suddenly I couldn’t print anymore on both OS’
I get the message ” There was an error found when printingthe document “blablabla” to LPT1: The device is not connected.
When I connect both printers to my other computer they both work fine.
I already re-installed the latest drivers.
There are no IRQ or any other problems in the device manager (all looks ok).
When I boot the W98 part in Dos mode and do a dir > lpt1, the printer is working so my parallel port seams to be OK.
I’ve reinstalled W98K in a VMware PC. Same result not working. only when in Dos mode.
I’m desperate. I tried everything( I think)
