On NT 4 can I install a page file across a stripe set ? Or does it have to be on one drive only?

Hi, you'll get the best performance from paging files by placing one on each drive (but not as part of a stripe set). If you want to be able to do a full memory dump in the case of a crash, one paging file should be on the boot parition (nt's systemfiles)and then on another drive set a paging file (or on several drives depending on what your configuration is). MS states a paging file should be set to the amount of ram plus 12mb, however, a more realistic size usually is 1.5 times the amount ofram. Hope this helps.
