I am completely stumped by these trailing shadows on my screen. They occur everywhere on my screen where there is a contrast change. I have recreated the problem in a jpeg at http://www.crescentcityca.com/shadow.htm
After a dark image, they are very light, and after a light image they are dark. They trail to the right of each image or text approximately 1 or 2 inches.
I have searched the web and found nothing. I have an ATI Radeon VE, Windows 98SE, Gateway 2000 Vivitron 1770 monitor, with an Abit KT7A and AMD 850 Mhz Thunderbird.
