SUB Drop-down list in ACCESS 2000

By Adisha ·
Is it possible to create a sub drop-down list in Access 2000? By this I mean a drop-down combo box in a form that gives rise to further selections - just like in the Windows Start menu.

I thank you for your help in advance . . .

One way to accomplish something like this is to have a second combo box that gets populated with choices only after the user selects something in the first combo box (in other words, when the Change event fires). If you wanted to, you could even keep the second combo box invisible until that event.

This is logically the same as the cascading menus in Windows. For something that's visually the same, I think you'll need either a third-party control or direct manipulation of the Windows API.I hope this helps.

Good suggestion, but lacks detail. I rather not use a third party control, I thing I will look closely at VBA for my answer.
