Subnet 2 locations via Bridging or ?

by john.johnston . Updated 25 years, 9 months ago

I have a class c network divided into 4 equal subnets. One of the subnets is assigned to a remote location (15 miles away). Would like to include the remote into the local network and allow the remote clients IP assigning via DHCP as well as access to our local services i.e. CD server.

Was informed that bridging would work but was extremely slow and cumberson, even with our T-1 connect between the 2 site.

Looking for possible ideas, including establishing remote as separate domian with trust between the two. Am currently IPX routing but this dosen’t allow for browsing of our local network to the CD server and resources.
