how do i subnet an ip address on a 2800 cisco router

don’t you simply type in the ip address and followed by the subnet you want to use eg. ip: 192.168.100.100 255.255.0.0 when your in root mode. I’m afraid its been a while since i used a Cisco router

You subnet on IP. and that is not router specific. The mask will show the subnetting information
All this depends on your requirment, like how many networks you want, how many hosts you want on each network…
