A suggestion
First I want to compliment Tech Republic for the timely information you provide to those of us in the field. I always look here first and usually don’t have to look much further.
With that being said however I have a suggestion, Ihave been tasked with researching a new backup strategy for my company and I cannot find any information relevant to what I need, IE: a products review that focuses on backup equipment, DLT vs 4mm tape drives, cost vs performance, compatibility etc,so as I move on to other locations please know that I spent a good 10 minutes (an eternity in internet time) looking around your site for some info, and not finding it. I had high hopes for a product review link I found in some of your deeper pages but it was non responsive and after 6 tries I am assuming the link is actually a dead link.
I realize this is more like a comment than a suggestion so I would suggest a full review section (ala pc mag) from an IT professionals standpoint. I would think with your highly focused hit rate you wouldn’t have that much trouble getting demo equipment from manufacturers etc.
