i need a server to perform some fast java/c++-based networking simulations i am interested in running for some research..unfortunately, i have to purchase this server myself..at first i was considering purchasing a few blade servers..however, funding limitations have pretty much dissolved that idea.
i am considering purchasing a tower server and using this to get me started until i can find some real money to invest in some. does anyone have any suggestions on a brand, and type of tower server that would help me? i would greatly appreciate the assistance..
