Sunbelt Personal Firewall - Remote Desktop with non-default port number

By notlehsm ·
Once and for all, I would really love to be able to configure this and know it will work from outside my LAN! Yes, I do have the port forwarded to the correct IP address for this machine.

So, I created a packet filter. I named it RDP, for instance. Then chose TCP as the protocol. Next, I added my non default port 33xx to Local and named that RDP. I did the same for Remote.

Now, if I enter my domain:33xx in Remote Desktop, it should allow pass-through, right?! I need to KNOW this is going to work from the outside before I try it and find out it still doesn't work.

Oh, and how in the **** do you change between advanced and simple mode, like it says when you can when you install it? I never have found that option within the program.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
