Support team as Local Admins in AD

By rmastiyev ·
How can I add our Support Team group into Administrators group of every single client workstation? I need the members of this grop to seamlessly administer remote client workstations without giving the the Domain Admin privileges.

Thanks for the help.

Try putting the Support Group from your Domain into the local Administrators group. The group will not be part of the Domain admins but only local PC admins

That's the trouble, adding this group onto EVERY SINGLE machine.

Your solution is the Workstation Admins security group, with local admins rights on all workstations.

If you want to do this at AD level, you can delegate the group over an OU which contains those computers

Well done, totally forgot about delegating administration rights in the OU hierarchy!
