Swapping rows and cloumns in Excel

by al . Updated 25 years, 1 month ago

I have a problem which sounds basic, but is quite complex to resolve

I have a spreadsheet which in order to pipe into Access, I need to swap rows and columns and then save as a comma delimited file (it is also for use by a client)

Using Excel 2000 I have had major problems with firstly the size of the worksheet (its width is too short to accomodate all data in a column along the row) and secondly, if I set up a separate sheet, referencing the original but with rows and columns reversed, the formula does not copy across properly – it assumes that the formula flows down the column as opposed to across the row.

Its really frustrating and I have a tight deadline – can anyone help
