I installed Linux Mandrake 8.0 on a pc at home trying to setup up a server. Whenever i try to launch swat through the Konqueror web browser using “http://localhost:901/”, i keep getting an error message saying “Could not connect to host localhost (port 901). I have checked the /xinetd.d/swat file and the entries seems correct based on the man page. I have also checked the /etc/xinetd.conf file and entered “swat stream tcp nowait.400 root /usr/sbin/swat swat” as the man page suggested but to noavail can i get Swat to launch. Does any one have a resolution to what might be causing this problem.
