Switch Type in Network Load Balancing??

Is a layer 2 good enough for Win2K Network Load Balancing or we need layer 3, where you can assign individual IP address to each port?

That's the question we are asking ourselves and don't seem to find the answer.

Any help is much appreciated.

Layer 2 switch is fine, just be aware of
