Switching out Physical Servers

By kyle.baker ·
Some months down the road we're finally getting around to replacing our old server DNS/File server.

New server has been sitting on the shelf periodically being updated manually with new users when users are added to the network. New server is not on the network.

I personally am new to the professional IT field, and am looking to see if there's anything in particular that i've missed that will be needed when we shut the network down to swap out the servers.

All users and policies have been recreated, data is being transfered over, DNS and IP settings have been recreated.

I've tested that computers set up to connect to the older server do correctly connect to the new server.

Should I have anything more to worry about than just physically swapping them out?
