symantec ghost for 30 laptops

im trying to wrap my head around the concept of how to use symantec ghost software.
i have 30 laptops that need to be in use for a school. i also haw server 2003 w/ symantec ghost cast server.
From what i understand. if i configure one computer just how i want it, (with all the software i want and dont want) then i make a image of that and disk overwrite all the other computers hard disks with this image???
