Symantec NAV 2004 Problem

I have been using NAV 2002 upgraded to 2003 for a year now with no problems. I upgraded to 2004 and lost the ability to read data files from my CD and DVD players. Mp3’s play fine. I have reformatted and loaded a fresh Win2k OS with and without update patches and drivers and every time I lose my CD and DVD players. I have gone back to NAV 2003 for now. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how do I fix it? I have been in e-mail correspondance with Symantec but I can’t get any help.
